We visit Hospitals, nursing homes and Montessori School and grade school.Harlee and Bev have volunteered at the following places. Alpena Regional Medical Center in Alpena, MI. We mainly went from room to room visiting the Physical Therapy Patients! Tendercare and Tendergreen Health Centers in Alpena, MI and Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City, MI. We do R.E.A.D. at St. Ignatius School twice a week in Rogers City, Mi and at Montessori pre-school.The Montessori School is wonderful and so are the children. It is really special to see 3 ½ and 4 yr. olds reading. They just adore Harlee and vise-versa. Of course the teachers are also very special, patient and respectful of their little charges. It is simply a delight to go there!St. Ignatius Grade School is on Monday & Fridays and just as enjoyable. The children are wonderful and a joy to be around. What helps one helps the other also.
