Oscar's Page

Oscar was born on January 10th, 2003 at GlenEden in Berryville, Virginia. He now lives in Herndon, Virginia.   His mother is a golden retriever named Rockvale Jennifer and his father is an apricot poodle named Fox Meadow's Brilliant Star.




March 8th, 2003, 8 weeks old. Mom picked me up from Judy Hahn at GlenEden today, look how little I am! (My friend Toby the chocolate lab is in the background.)


My first weekend at Grandma's house, what an exhausting day!




Mom wouldn't stop picking me up because I'm just so darn cute.

This is my pal Buddy, the miniature schnauzer. I thought that I'd give him a little smooch, just to let him know that he's my friend.


Oscar at 12 weeks old and growing so fast! He weighed in at 22.8 pounds at the vet. He's mastered come, sit, shake paw, lay down and give a kiss. We're currently working on roll-over, but it's taking a little longer than the rest of the commands.




Please don't step on me, I'm not a stuffed animal...I'm a real, live doodle!


Okay, I'm sitting. So where's my treat?

At just about 9 months, Oscar has weighed in at 68 pounds. He's such a character and as goofy as ever. He gets along so well with other dogs, he loves children and the water is his favorite place to be. I couldn't have asked for a better dog!
