The Cornell vWD test is the old fashioned clotting factor assay test, which is not a DNA test, therefore it only gives the animal's clotting factor status at the time the test is taken. • Ichtyosis (source Antagene.com) Overabundance of dandruffs Description: The mutated gene is involved in the skin barrier lipid metabolism, its dysfunction leads to an abnormal desquamation Symptoms: Large-sized dandruffs whitish then blackish, mainly on the trunk and particularly visible on the belly.
