The months of January, February and March are the busiest in traffic to the site. January 2008 we celebrated the beginning of our 8th year on the net with a new monthly all-time high of over 6.8 million hits to the site, and over 75,000 unique viewers visiting us.

NEADS - National Education for Assistance Dog Services - Debbie Wachter donated MacGee to NEADS, and he has just been placed.
Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis - S.A.S. - We have a short health article on S.A.S., one of the most common canine heart malformations. Heart screening is stongly recommended, especially in Golden Retrievers and progeny.

Jan 9, 2008 - CAA/AAA Pet Photo Contest - And the winner is..... Libby the Goldendoodle, owned by Donna in Ontario. Libby will appear on the 2008 edition of the book sold at CAA/AAA offices and Barnes&Noble locations across the U.S. and Canada. This book is recommended for people who take their dogs on road trips.
Charlie - Charlie was rescued from a kill shelter and a notice was put up for him on our Rehome Doods page. He was placed in a suitable home within a week.
The Doods Needing Homes page is available to anyone who has need of it. When any of our listed breeders have a need to rehome a puppy, this page is available to them. Contact information can be posted to the breeder, or to the owner, whoever is interviewing the people inquiring about the dog.
