New information on vWD testing - Ingen.bs is no longer testing for vWd type I or III.  Type I vWD test is only available from Vetgen, and they will test poodle mixes (Goldendoodles, Labradoodles), but do not (apparently) test Golden Retrievers or Labrador Retrievers for vWd .
So DNA vWD testing is currently only from Vetgen, and only for Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, and Poodles.   The Cornell vWD test is the old fashioned clotting factor assay test, which is not a DNA test, therefore it only gives the animal's clotting factor status at the time the test is taken.
