Bonnie Harlan, the founder of, created this website and a Facebook page to raise awareness of the suffocation dangers that chip bags and other food packaging pose to our pets. It is becoming an all too-common tragedy as many of our pets, especially dogs, are suffocating after getting one of these chip bags stuck on their head and then dying from suffocation. Too many dogs are dying weekly from this!  

April 29, 2013 -   Legislature considers bill creating animal cruelty register
AUSTIN -- The Texas legislature is considering a bill that would create an animal abuse registry.   House bill 3747 creates a database containing information about people who have been convicted of offenses involving animal cruelty. Like the sex offender register, the animal abuse registry would require offenders to check in periodically.   The bill was up for public hearing at the Texas Capitol Monday.

July 29, 2010  -  Update to Labradoodle FAQ :         Donald Campbell, a British speed record breaker who died in a water speed record attempt in 1969 used the term 'Labradoodle' in his autobiography in 1955.  
"It was a gloomy job but we had some laughs, many at the expense of my dog, Maxie.  I'd had him since he was a pup in 1949 and we call him a "Labradoodle" since he is a mixture of a Labrador and a poodle, all black with thick, curly hair."  This quote can be found in his autobiography, Into the Water Barrier, Odhams Press Limited, 1955 on page 125.

Bonzer is learning to dance and has been working on "back around" (circle me backwards) and "shy" (where he lifts one paw to his forehead like a salute)-  This clip wasn't anything previously choreographed, but just some moves we were "rehearsing" in the garage.

Libby the Goldendoodle, owned by Donna in Ontario.  Libby will appear on the 2008 edition of the book sold at CAA/AAA offices and Barnes&Noble locations across the U.S. and Canada.  This book is recommended for people who take their dogs on road trips.

Nov. 24, 2007  -  Stop the Ban on Labradoodles and Other Crossbred Dogs  -  An Independent Member of the NSW Parliament, Clover Moore, introduced a Bill in October 2007 that will effectively ban the breeding of Labradoodles and other crossbred dogs in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
